INDIAN Paiute of the Great Basin. Daily life of the Indians Paiute southern region of Nevada and Utah; before the advent of the whites. In this inhospitable and arid land; the population has sustained with the summer harvest of roots; cactus fruit and seeds; and the hunt for insects; reptiles; small rodents; occasionally small antelope and deer. In winter they had to consume the stocks accumulated in the hot season. Chromos breeding size located at the Museum of Milwaukee; Wisconsin; USA in 1921 approximately.
