St. Margaret Mary Alacoque (1647-1690); French nun and mystic. "I have a burning thirst to be loved by men in the SS. Sacramento" are the words that Our Lord said to the Blessed Margaret depicted in the appearance; the Sacred Heart shining in his chest. It was beatified in 1864 and canonized by Pope Benedict XV in 1920; the anniversary October 16 to 17; the patron saint of the devotees of the Sacred Heart of Jesus.
