Giovanni ARRIVABENE (1787-1881) patriot; politician and economist Italian. For hosting in his house; in 1820; Silvio Pellico and Count Porro; he was imprisoned in the leads of Venice. He took part in the 1848 uprising in Lombardy and; after their repression; took refuge in Belgium; where he devoted himself to charitable works. In 1859 he returned to his country and the following year he was appointed Senator of the Kingdom. Photographic portrait of Evans M.
