SANTA CATERINA From Genoa (Catherine Fieschi Adorno; 1447-1510) religious and mystical Italian. Born into a noble family from Genoa and married off very young for political reconciliation with the family Adorno; lived the first ten years of marriage; leading a miserable life frivolous and worldly but; like her husband.
