ANTHROPOLOGY head Ndebele (or Matabele); the native population of the Matabeleland region of Zimbabwe inhabited by the mid-nineteenth century. The Ndebele are one of the two main ethnic groups in Zimbabwe (with Shona). The clothing normally follows the European styles; while in the parties back to the past: the warriors kept complicated feature-rich feathers; skins of wild animals; necklaces and bracelets of glass beads or metal.
