Duke of Edinburgh's Life Filmed, 23rd September 1953 The life story of the Duke of Edinburgh is the subject of a half-hour documentary film which opens in London and other capital cities of the Commonwealth on Friday. Before the film could be made, producer Howard Thomas had to spend a year looking at thousands of feet of film on which the Duke appeared.
