The Vietnam War Qui Nhon, South Vietnam ; The brutality and heartlessness of war is clearly outlined in this picture of a soldier carrying two crying , orphaned Vietnamese children across a swamp. It was a typical incident as American troops hunted the undercover Viet Cong. Later in the year Unted Press staff photographer, Kyoichi Sawada, from Tokyo , was to win the World Photo award with another picuture he took in the same district.........a family fleeing an air attack on their village. 11 December 1965
