The wedding in the private chapel of the manor house , near Gerrrard's Cross , Buckinghamshire - was conducted by Dr Eric Hamilton , Dean of Windsor , Domestic Chaplain to the King and Registrar of the Order of the Garter. The bride is the daughter of Mr H L S Baker of Co Roscommon Eire . 1 August 1950
