NIGHT SPECTRE: FLORENCE, ITALY: It could be jokingly described as the attire for a very fashionable ghost, this creation by Emilio Pucci of Florence for autumn/winter, 1965, modelled on a Florentine roof-top. The two-coloured dress is in red and ocean green jersey material. The two colours beautifully cross at the neck in the offshoulder bodice part, and then the dress widens falling to the floor (roof) level hem, but the skirt section is forming extrawide pantaloons. Matching two-colour slippers are worn. The line is pyramidal. 5 August 1965
