Mosley speaks again. The voice of Sir Oswald Mosley, ex-leader of the British Union of Fascists and ex 18B detainee, was heard in the land, this evening for the first time since the war, addressing a 'Winter Sales Conference' held under the auspices of Mosley Publications Ltd, at Memorial Hall, Faringdon Road. Sir Oswald contended that the USA 'was facing Russia communism across the prostrate body of Britain in a struggle to preserve the remnants of Western civilisation'. Heavy reinforcements of police, were rushed to the whole after political opponents of Sir Oswald had attempted to rush the building. After it was all clear, the former leader of Britain's Fascist left by a side door. Photo shows, Sir Oswald Mosley, surrounded by a heavy police cordon, pictured about to leave after the meeting tonight (Saturday). 15 November 1947 .
