Cyprus digs air raid shelters here today in Nicosia, and three British women, Jean and Leslie Elliott of Liverpool, Lancashire and Lana Matoff (centre) a former Vogue fashion writer help their Greek Cypriot neighbours with digging. Meanwhile the Greek Government said today that Greek troops have moved towards the border with Turkey and Naval units have been ordered to patrol the Aegean Sea islands.
