The housing storage is not going to worry Mr T. Smith, of Filton, Bristol, who is doing a neat job of conversion on an ex- D day glider. Mr Smith has purchased a Horsa troop carrier glider for the sum of ?0, for transforming into two caravan trailers, each capable of sleeping 4 people. Two windowed pilot's cabins which he has obtained are being fitted so that the Smith family may enjoy the comfort and luxury of a sun lounge. When the caravans are completed Mr Smith intends to keep one for his own use and to sell the other one to cover the costs of the glider. Mr T.
