Sunk upside down with her nose in the mud off Calshot near Southampton, is the Aquila Airways flying boat that healed over while taking off in Southampton Water early this morning (Wednesday). The 35 passengers were safely taken off before the aircraft was towed towards the RAF flying boat base at Calshot; it capsised before it could be hauled ashore.
