Once a week the roof of the Crayford public library is given over to the local group of astrologers. They call themselves the Crayford astronomical observation group, and it is organised by the librarian-Mr GH Robinson. Mr Robinson made his 6 1/2 inch reflecting telescope which has a magnification of some 400 times. Nearly hundred people were attached to the group and this picture shows a section of them in the operation under the guidance of GH Robinson, extreme left. 21 April 1952
