Fairy Tale Figures for Churchill British Prime Minister Sir Winston Churchill was involved in Hans Anderson fantasy during a ceremony at 10 Downing Sreet , his official London residence , when he recieved from Mr Ole Cavling Editor in Chief of the Copenhagen newspaper Ekstrabladet , five figurines representing characters from Hans Anderson tales . The presentation marks Sir WInston ' s part in the annual broadcast from Odense , Anderson ' s birthplace . Mr Cavling inaugurated the broadcast five years ago and each year since then has had the programme introduced by a world famous figure , and to each of these five has gone a presentation set of figurines in costly royal Copenhagen china Prime Minister Sir Winston Churchill ( left ) recieving one of the figurines from Mr Ole Cavling at 10 Downing Street 6th April 1954
