The London film production "an ideal husband", based on the stage success by Oscar Wilde, and produced and directed by Sir Alexander Korda, had its world premiere at the Carlton Theatre, Haymarket this evening. Many distinguished personalities were present to see this brilliant Wilde comedy brought to the screen by Paulette Gothard and Michael Wilding, supported by Sir Aubrey Smite, Diana Wynard, Glynis Johns, Constance Collier, Christine Norden and Hugh Williams.
