Earl and Countess Mountbatten here for Royal Wedding. Earl Mountbatten, Governor General of the Dominion of India, arrived at Northolt Airport from India today (Tuesday) with Countess Mountbatten and their younger daughter, the Hon Pamela Mountbatten, who is to be one of Princess Elizabeth's eight bridesmaids. There to meet them were the son-in-law and daughter of Earl and Countess Mountbatten, Lord and Lady Brabourne. Mr V K Krishna Menon, High Commissioner for India in London was also there to greet them.
