Poole pottery for the Princess. Fine examples of Poole Pottery, comprising a dinner service of 50 pieces, designed by John Adams, and a shagreen raised with Magnolia white handles, designed by Mrs Truda Carter, will be presented to H R H Princess Elizabeth on the occasion of her forthcoming marriage by the Borough of Poole, Dorset. Photo shows, Josef Noivok, a Polish potter, employed at Poole, seen at work on one of the handles of the presentation vase. They are in the design of Chinese dogs. 7 November 1947
