Al Chavez, an American Mexican flyweight recently arrived in this country, feels he has the means in his two fists bring about an end to the controversy which has raged between Jackie Paterson and Rinty Monaghan regarding ownership of the world flyweight title. Rinty Monaghan's claim is backed by the National Boxing Association Board of Control, Paterson has the British Boxing Board of Control to say he's still flyweight champion of the world, the British Empire and Great Britain. ~Mr Chavez, who has a non-title tilt with Paterson in Manchester on 15 December, is also on the trail of Rinty Monaghan.
