Proxy bride home from Ellis Island. Mrs Eileen Hagen, formerly Eileen Green, of Cuthbert Street, Paddington, arrived at London airport tonight (Friday) . After a week on Ellis Island. Mrs Hagan, who married by proxy, left England to join her American husband. Her Visa was, however, declared by the US authorities to be no longer valid, and permission for her to enter the USA was withheld. She has come back to Britain determined to apply for a new Visa and to try again to join her husband.
