60 years at school. A Cornish schoolteacher whose scholastic career began, appropriately in the year of Queen Victoria's golden Jubilee, retired last week with the completion of over 60 years, as pupil and teacher in the same little school at Blackwater, Cornwall. She 65-year-old Miss M M Faul, of Redruth, who are 4 1/2 began school, became a teacher when she reached leaving age, and spent the greatest part of the time since in the same infants classroom. All through the years Miss Faull has managed to retain much of the youth of her charges, slim spry and smiling, she has a near-perfect attendance record, last winter, she did not miss a day school in spite of some of the worst weather in Cornwall's history.
