Miners pigeons fly home with London's greetings. From the pit head bandstand erected in Hyde Park in connection with the 'Miner Comes to Town' exhibition, the Lord Mayor of London (Sir Bracewell Smith) this morning released a number of miners homing pigeons carrying a message from the people of London to miners in various coalfields. the exhibition was opened by the Prime Ministerat Marble Arch Pavilion earlier today (Thursday).
