French war hero Prof Henri Lauth (right) meets Harry Kidney, and ex RAF bomb disposal expert, in front of a German V2 rocket at the Imperial War Museum, when some 70 survivors of the horrific Dora underground bomb-making camp of East Germany were reunited in London today. Prof Lauth, assistant headmaster of Manchester Grammar School before the war, was sentenced to death and tortured after he was caught tampering with a rocket head, and Mr Kidney disarm some of the V2 rockets out of the Allies liberated the camp. On the left-hand side can be seen wearing an engine of a V1 doodlebug. On the right-hand side can be seen a Focke Wulf FW 190 .
