Holland is soon to re-enter the North Atlantic luxury passenger service with the 36,000-ton liner "Nieuw Amsterdam", which arrived at Southampton yesterday for completion of her reconversion from a trooper. Much work to prepare her for her new role has already been completed at Rotterdam, but British craftsmen will complete the change over because Holland has no dry dock large enough to hold the ship. 17 August 1947
