Noah's Ark is here. One of the largest collections of wild animals, reptiles and birds ever to come to Britain was unloaded from the SS City of Kimberley at Tilbury docks this morning (Thursday). Most important items are five Bengal tigers, six, leopards and four bears. There is also a priceless 'armour plated' Indian rhinoceros from the Himalayas, destined for Whipsnade, and a pair of shoes bills, a giant species of stall from the White Nile. Crocodiles, pelicans, Cobras, vipers, flamingos, flying foxes, monkeys, baboons, water visits and hundreds of small birds included in the passenger list. 'Noah' of the consignment is Mr Leslie Flewin, overseer of the mammals. He is collected his passengers from India Ceylon and the Sudan.
