Padre of Bigamy charge. A crowd formed in the Market Square before the Guildhall, Salisbury, where the Rev Charles Henry Cunningham Lamb, 36 year old former RAF Padre and former Chaplain of of St John's Church, Isle of Man, was charged before a special court today, with bigamously marrying Miss Joan Boddie, then a Corporal in the WAAF at Dinton, near Salisbury, in 1944. The Bishop of Soder and Man has revoked the former chaplain's licence, and has given Mr Lamb notice to vacate the parsonage.
