The barking of a dog in the woods near Manor Farm, Guildford, led a party of girl guides to the spot where they discovered Lesley Gaff, aged nine, shot dead, and his sister Eileen Gaff, seven seriously injured. The children had been missing with their dog snowy from their home in Guildford since Friday.
