Her Royal Highness Princess Elizabeth drove to Guildhall today,via The Mall, the Strand, Fleet Street, Ludgate Hill and Cheapside, to receive the Freedom of the City of London. For the Princess who left Buckingham Palace in a semi-state landau drawn by 4 Greys, it was the first big London ceremony in which she was unaccompanied by other members of the Royal family.
