Every horse has its day and today is London's cart horses had a chance to show themselves when, groomed and be-ribboned, they paraded round the inner Circle of Regent's Park, on the occasion of the 51st Annual Cart Horse Parade - the first since 1939. The Royal Society for the prevention of cruelty to animals awarded a silver cup to the best unblocked force, and long service prizes and badges of merit.
