It has been announced that miss Jean Nunn, 30-year-old honours graduate, has been appointed secretary to the Royal commission which will enquire into the ownership and control of the press. Miss Nunn is famous among civil servants as a humanist and writer of witty departmental minutes. The date of the first meeting of the commission has been fixed April 30 and will take place in London. 21 April 1947
