The South African cricket team, captained by Alan Melville, a former Oxford University captain and Sussex player, arrived at Southampton in the SS Cape Town Castle today to begin their English tour. Team will play a series of 5 tests against England, first of which opens at Nottingham on June 7. Their first appearance against a county side will be when they play Worcestershire at Worcester on April 30.
