Funeral of the Chief Rabbi. The funeral took place today, Thursday, of the Chief Rabbi of the United Hebrew congregation of the British Empire, Dr Joseph Herman Hertz. the ceremony was at the St john's Road Synagogue (Dr Hertz lived in St John's Wood) and the burial followed at the Willesden Jewish Cemetary.
