Glynis takes a cold. Glynis Johns, Welsh born film and stage star, left Waterloo today on the 'Queen Elizabeth' boat train. She is going to America for a month's holiday in hopes of the Atlantic will blow away the bad cold that has, for the moment, almost defeated her famous husky voice. Although she is no firm commitments, Sir Alexander Korda has suggested that she should visit 'certain people' in New York and Los Angeles, who or why, Glynis will not say. Photo shows, Glynis Johns says 'goodbye' from her carriage on the 'QE' boat train at Waterloo, London, this morning, Wednesday. 29 January 1947
