The world's largest liner, the canard white star "Queen Elizabeth", undergoes her speed trials in the Clyde next week. The Queen and the princesses will be aboard. The finishing touches on her conversation from the troopship to passenger liner are being completed by a small army of Clydeside workers who were drafted South to Southampton docks.
