[Original Caption] Ronnie James, the British lightweight champion, proved no serious match the Ike Williams the coloured American, when they met the world lightweight championship at Ninian Park, Cardiff tonight and was knocked out in the 9th round. This was the first knockout of James's career and came after he had taken no fewer than 6 counts before the final decisive 10 seconds.
