Miss Daisy Josephine Amey, 19-year-old housemaid at Blandford (Dorset) cottage hospital, has now been missing for over 3 weeks. She left the hospital saying that she was going to Salisbury Cinema, without her ration book and only had a little money. All her clothes left behind and the possibility of foul play cannot be ruled out. Dorset police issued a broadcast appeal which was answered by Richmond Surrey, Boatman who stated that he saw a girl answering miss Amey's description on the Riverside, but Richmond police have so far failed to follow up this clue successfully.
