Today's wedding at westminster Abbey. The wedding took place today (Tuesday) between Miss Marjorie (Mollie) Wyndham Quin, a friend of princess Elizabeth, and Captain the Hon Robert Cecil, only surviving son of Viscount Cranbourne. the bride has recently given up her war time nursing job and the bridegroom served in the Grendadier Guards, taking part in the invasion of Europe. This was the first big peace time marriage to take place at the Abbey. Fifteen invitations were sent out for the ceremony which took place by special permission at the High Altar.
