London ''mutiny'' ship boarded by the Navy. An SOS of 'mutiny aboard' picked up by naval stations today sent a destroyer racing to the British steamer 'Victoria Peak' 90 miles of Harwich. After an armed naval party had brought the 'Victoria Peak' (6,035 tons) to Southend, 10) went to board accompanied the ship to Gravesend. The sailors had suppressed a disturbance stated to have broken out among some of the Chinese crew after the ship (owned by Lambert brothers, Leadenhall Street, (London) had left the Hook of Holland bound for Genoa. Photo shows, the SS Victoria Peak, photographed of Gravesend tonight (Friday). 19 July 1946
