Glyndebourne Again. The Glyndebourne Festival , was revived tonight (Friday) . When Benjamin Britten's new opera 'The Rape of Lucretia' was performed for the first time of the newly formed English Opera Company at the Downlands Opera House, near Lewes, Sussex. Ronald Duncan wrote the libretto, Eric Crozier produced. The two conductors for the two weeks' Festival are Ernest Ansermet , and Reginald Goodall.
