Miss Paula Mills, of Ulney Park, Adelaide, South Australia, flew to England in 63 hours in a civil Lancaster for her wedding today, to fighter pilot Flight Lieutenant Ray Martin, RAF of London. They met in Australia when raid was based on Darwin flying testify against the Japanese. Paula had only 6 hours notice for her flight, and dashed the airport with her wedding gown, veil and plastic shoes hurriedly crammed into a suitcase. 29 June 1946
