350 Labour councillors from all over England and Wales, met yesterday (Saturday) at the Technical College, Nottingham, to get advice and guidance from Cabinet Ministers on the Government's financial, housing, health and education plans and to discuss how municipalities could best fit their schemes into those of the government. Mr Herbert Morrison, Lord President of the Council and Miss Ellen Wilkinson, Minister of Education, spoke yesterday. Today (Sunday). Mr Aneurin Bevan will speak on health and housing followed by Mr W Glenvil Hall, Financial Secretary to the Treasury.
