Mr Bernard Lynch, 27-year-old former member of the Eire air force, last evening was successfully ejected from a meteor jet aircraft first time in history. A rocket device, the product of the Martin Baker aircraft company of Denham, bucks, is used to propel the pilot, still in his seat through the cockpit aperture to a distance of 60 feet above the aircraft.
