The 6th Imperial press conference was opened by Mr CR Attlee, the Prime Minister. Last held here in 1939, 60 newspaper chiefs from all parts of the Empire has assembled at Grosvenor house, London to discuss Imperial problems, trade, rescues, can indications, security and the future of the Empire press.
