Queen Mary, accompanied by Princess Alice and the Earl of Athlone, paid a visit to London's Stage Door Canteen. Founded by actresses and actors, the canteen gives servicemen and women on leave a first-class evening's entertainment, with dancing refreshments and a cabaret, in which well-known artists appear.
