Prime Minister Mr. C.R. Attlee presided at number 10 Downing Street at the first of a series of meetings of Commonwealth Prime Ministers. Mr J.B. Chifley (Australia) was present with his Minister for External Affairs - Dr Evatt. Mr Peter Fraser, New Zealand, was represented by Mr Walter Nash - Minister of Finance.
