Nearly 100 visitors from Sweden the first foreign tourists in England's since the outbreak of war, sailed up the Thames to dock at Millwall, London. Their boat the "Suecia" is their hotel and they will eat food brought with them. With flags and bunting flying the boat was brought to the landing stage at Tilbury by a small tug. The visitors were welcomed by a party which included Mr H. A. Marquand - Secretary of Overseas Trade, and Lord Hacking - Chairman of the Travel Association. Photo shows admiring the up river scenes as the SS "Suecia" sailed to Millwall. 8 April 1946
