30 ministers of agriculture or food from 18 nations arrived in London yesterday, for the conference opened by Mr Ernest Bevin at Church House, Westminster. For 4 days experts will confer to find means of increasing wheat supplies in Europe for starving Europeans. Russia, Czechoslovakia, Finland, Hungary, Yugoslavia and Romania have declined to attend.
