Coup in Colombia. General Gustavo Rojas Pinilla (right), commander of the Colombian Armed Forces, seize control of the government in a bloodless coup d'彋at, it was reported from the Bogota, 13 June. Army troops led by 10 tanks surrounded the residence of Pres Laureano Gomez and the government fell without a shot being fired.
