Uniform maker Herman Kravitz turns down a chance to deny the Senate Investigating Subcommittee that he bribed government officials. The contractor invoked the 5th Amendment on most questions put to him by the subcommittee would also sought to learn why Kravitz hired Vice President Nixon's campaign manager as attorney after Kravitz was accused of misappropriating government fur supposed to have been used in the manufacture of parka hoods for men on duty in the Arctic regions. 25 April 1956
