Jindrich Kotas, Czech Deputy Consul resigned and refused an order to return to red dominated Prague. He sent his resignation to the Czechoslovakian government with a memorandum in which he said he chose to remain in Cleveland rather than "submit to the will of the regime I loathe, since I consider it a human evil and calamity."
